The Awkwardness of Corporate Videos

I’m sure if you’ve ever had experience working within a corporate environment, you’ll know exactly what we mean when we mention the awkwardness of corporate videos, for both everyone in the room and those on video! A video that is supposed to be engaging and informative, ends up with the unlucky star of the show, just looking tense and uncomfortable to their whole workplace.

We completely get it though, most people don’t enjoy being on camera and its not something that comes naturally to everyone. That’s why, a private podcast could be a lot of companies’ perfect solution to this. Hear us out… When you take away the camera, having to stare down the lens and overthinking about those tiny things that make you insecure (which by the way, the majority of people never bat an eyelid at!) you instantly drop your guard and relax.

So instead of being concerned about how you look on camera and what you’re wearing, you become more aware of human connection and the message you’re trying to portray to your colleagues. A successful podcast is a podcast which shows the personality of the host, as well as their guests, and with a private internal podcast, you have a really great opportunity to connect and reach the people you're trying to reach, namely, your employees, in a genuine way.

If you’re like us and you’re bored of being told to watch those awkward corporate videos which nobody ends up watching anyway, but you still want to engage and connect with your team, then an internal private podcast is probably the best way to go for you. And if you’ve read this thinking this resonates with you, then get in touch! At The Podcast Boutique, we create next level podcasts for entrepreneurs, small businesses and brands and would love to help you with yours.

So, if this is something that you’ve found interesting, or you want to start a podcast for your team, but you think you don't have the time or knowledge,, then this is the way to do it. You can book a call HERE.
